Overview

Connect Words is a word puzzle game. We are committed to being transparent about how the app works and what data, if any, is involved. The short version: we do not collect, store, or share any personal information about you.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any contact information
• Your location
• Your device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID, etc.)
• Any usage analytics or crash reports sent to our servers
• Any account information (the app requires no sign-in)

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Connect Words stores the following data on your device only, using Android's standard local storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party:

• Game progress — your current puzzle level in Endless mode
• Game statistics — puzzles solved, XP earned, current streak, best streak, hints used
• Settings — your chosen theme (light/dark), haptics preference, notification preference
• Daily puzzle state — whether you have completed today's daily puzzle, so it doesn't reset on relaunch

This data is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app.

Advertising

Connect Words may display advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob is a third-party service operated by Google LLC. When ads are shown, AdMob may collect certain information from your device in accordance with Google's own privacy policy, including:

• Advertising identifiers (which you can reset or opt out of in your device settings)
• IP address and general location (country/region level)
• Device type and operating system version
• Ad interaction data (e.g. whether an ad was viewed or tapped)

We do not have access to this data. It is collected and processed solely by Google under their privacy practices.

Sharing Feature

Connect Words includes an optional "Share Result" button on the puzzle results screen. Tapping this opens your device's standard share sheet, allowing you to share a text summary of your result via any app you choose. We do not have access to what you share or where you share it.

Children's Privacy

Connect Words does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through this app, please contact us at ronit.taranekar13@gmail.com and we will address it promptly.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service integrated into Connect Words is Google AdMob (for advertising). No analytics SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, or social login SDKs are included.

Data Security

Because Connect Words does not transmit any personal data to external servers, there is no risk of your personal data being intercepted in transit or exposed in a server breach. All locally stored data remains on your device under Android's standard app sandboxing.

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
